Because of our circular and creative approach, we use raw materials and waste in a smarter way. By using organic, recycled and upcycled materials, new, unique products are created with a limited ecological footprint. For example, an old wool sweater becomes a new felt laptop sleeve and discarded paper is once again given a function in our modular notebook. As a result, each product has a unique origin and composition.

By working with recycled and upcycled materials from Europe, we exclude an important part of the pollution within the textile industry. Many environmental effects occur in the initial phase of production. Think of the cultivation of plant fibers or the extraction of raw materials such as crude oil, from which synthetic fibers are made. These production phases are very resource intensive. The consumption of water, energy and chemicals, but also the discharge of waste water and the emission of dirty air have a major impact on the environment and the people who work and live there. We skip this initial phase with our materials. In addition, they do not have to cross the ocean. This significantly reduces CO2 emissions. All MADE out of products are provided with a transparency label with QR code that gives access to the story and the underlying impact of the material. This way you know exactly where, by whom and what your new item is made of.

Recycled TEXTILE
Meet our newest collection, consisting of our best-selling products, but now in a new material! Made from textile waste material, consisting of 70% denim waste, 25% binders and 5% vegetable additives.
The unique material is made of recycled denim fibers with a fine, yet cool-looking texture. These fine fibers make the flexible material similar to real leather. It is 100% recyclable and can be reused or repurposed repeatedly.

LOCAL WASTE WOOD
Trees are special and a very valuable part of everyone's living environment and the world. Unfortunately, trees are still being cut down to make way for buildings or for emergency felling. These undervalued trees are often shredded and burned. We think it's a shame! In addition to being beautiful, natural and unique, wood also plays an important role in slowing down climate change. Wood stores CO2 throughout its life. We want to preserve the value of this wood and to propagate and document its meaning. We see the wood as a valuable harvest for our environment that everyone can enjoy. That is why we buy these trees, dry them and turn them into valuable new products. In this way we want to close the circle and give back to nature what we have used.

Sustainable ALTERNATIVE to leather
VEGAN APPEALS
The leather-like material of our apple leather is made from the remains of apples from the juice industry in Italy. 1.4 KG of apples are needed to make 1 liter of juice. The skin, core and dried pulp is what remains after pressing. By recovering this “waste”, grinding it and then processing it into the apple leather, we limit not only waste management costs but also damage to the environment. In addition, this natural waste is also used to replace other raw materials of chemical origin in production, reducing emissions and energy consumption throughout the production chain. For example, the apple waste replaces up to 50% of what was previously fossil. In addition to the fact that the material is made from waste, is vegan and is produced in Europe, the developer is working daily to increase the impact of the material and to make it 100% circular in the future. This allows us to help build an even better and more sustainable alternative. RECYCLED LEATHER
Our recycled leather is made from recycled material from leather waste from shoe and bag production. We collected, ground and re-bound the waste with water and natural binders. Instead of burning it, this material has been repurposed in a different form. The material feels rubbery and has a nice matte appearance. The colored top layer is made of a very thin PU layer on 100% water base. We deliberately chose this material, despite it coming from Italy. Italy is the country of fashion. Many luxury brands are produced here and therefore also a lot of waste. For us, this recycled material, made from waste from Europe, is a better alternative than real leather or vegan bags made of PU plastic from the Far East. We use unique fabrics based on recycled cotton (60%). The fabrics are made from recycled cotton yarn, obtained from cutting waste from productions or actually worn textiles. These recycled cotton yarns are always mixed with new cotton yarns (40%), which is necessary for the binding and strength of the fabric. RECYCLED WOOL Felt
Our recycled felt is made from regenerated wool fibres, certified with the Global Recycled Standard, whose skilful reuse of materials breathes new life into the environment while adhering to the principles of the circular economy. Through the ragage process, garments are reduced to recycled fibres, separated by color and type. At the end of the production process, the tuft looks the same as freshly shorn wool. Our felt line consists of different thicknesses and colours. From plain to mottled and from gray to soft brown tones. Almost everything nowadays is made of plastic, in other words: plastic. About 8 million tons of plastic ends up in the sea every year. We don't have to explain anymore that plastic waste is a big problem. There are a lot of discussions going on about plastic and bioplastic and many plastics are not yet recycled because they are “polluted”. A solution seems to be bioplastic, but this remains a plastic that certainly cannot always be recycled. Nevertheless, we have consciously chosen to use materials based on recycled plastics. This is because we reduce waste, reduce CO2 emissions and prevent “new” materials from being used. Upcycling used bouncy castles creates a unique, cheerful and super creative material. It is sturdy, water-repellent and applicable in all kinds of bags and accessories. We process this material socially and locally and, of course, it is cleaned with a natural soap before we convert it into a new product. For our product line we use upcycled awnings and sunshades. These materials are cutting loss from an awning production in the Netherlands. The material is extremely sturdy, durable and water-repellent. So a shame to throw it away! That is why we upcycle this waste into a product line with a story.
